BRAVO! Group Services has hired John McGlynn as controller, announces the privately held facility solutions company in a press statement.
In his new role, McGlynn will be responsible for managing all the accounting functions of the BRAVO! janitorial services portfolio, ensuring the integrity of processes, procedures, and information systems, and providing timely financial information and analysis. Trupti Shah, BRAVO!’s controller since 2008, has moved into the newly created role as controller for BRAVO!’s C-K Control Temp division.
McGlynn brings to BRAVO! over 25 years of experience as a New York state certified public accountant. Before joining BRAVO!, he served as vice president of Revenue, Lease Analysis and Insurance at the New York Economic Development Corporation, where his responsibilities included revenue billing, corporate insurance administration and portfolio management reporting. Prior to NYEDC, McGlynn served as corporate controller for Temco Service Industries and as a consultant for AIG Investments on a number of financial reporting projects. Earlier in his career, he also worked in public accounting for a firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Georgetown University.
