A janitorial service provider is helping keep its customers safe from COVID-19 despite the fact it hasn't been able to hire more staff as demands for its services rise.
RBG Janitorial of Rockford, Illinois would have liked to have hired more workers during the pandemic, but couldn't because in-person training isn't an option right now, reports WREX. As a result, the janitors the company had on staff have stepped up to the point that leadership says they're performing like "warriors."
Company head Eva Kretschmar says a lot of people are worrying about the things they're hearing surrounding COVID-19. She says she tells those scared people to get their information from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
There have been more than 5.6 million COVID-19 cases in the United States as of Monday, according to the CDC. More than 175,000 of those cases have resulted in death. For more from the CDC, click here.
