Hill & Markes has achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR accreditation, the company announced in a press release. Under the guidance of GBAC, a Division of ISSA, Hill & Markes has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention in its facility.

GBAC STAR helps organizations establish protocols and procedures, offers expert-led training and assesses a facility’s readiness for biorisk situations. The program verifies that Hill & Markes implements best practices to prepare for, respond to and recover from outbreaks and pandemics. Hill & Markes has serviced and consulted schools, offices, and healthcare facilities on proper cleaning and disinfection methods to maintain healthy and safe environments. The family-owned wholesale distributor can help other businesses achieve the GBAC STAR gold standard, too.
