Three people were appointed to the revamped Simon Institute Board of Directors following a discussion on the future of institute, according to an email announcement.

Those appointed include:

President

Brandon Baswell, Michigan State University

Vice President

Alan Bigger, APPA Fellow

Secretary

Elizabeth Saavedra, University of Texas at Austin

The president, vice president and secretary positions are part of the institute's board. Renae Walker of ManageMen was named treasurer, which is not a board position.

Board members now include: Baswell, Bigger, Saavedra, James Peel, Texas Tech University; Kenneth McAlpin, Mt. San Antonio College; Ben Walker, ManageMen; Caryn Stets, PortionPac; and Rich Steinberg, ProTeam.
