Time is running out to nominate a restroom as the best in Canada.

Cintas Canada's Best Restroom Contest is receiving nominations through Friday, May 14. The competition benefits the businesses or properties that possess these restrooms for several reasons. For one, by just being nominated that facility shows the public that it has well-maintained restrooms that are worth visiting. Another benefit is that nominees have the chance to receive hundreds of thousands of dollars in free publicity. Finally, the winning facility will receive $2,500 in facility services from Cintas to help maintain its restrooms.

According to Cintas, nominees for the honor are judged on five criteria: cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements. 

Five finalists for the award will be selected by Cintas in June. The public will then get the chance to vote for the overall winner.
