To honor the hard work of EVS frontline staff facing more pressure than ever during the pandemic, healthcare solutions provider Medline has launched the second-annual “EVS Super Star VIP of Clean” contest. Employees across the country making strides for infection control, crafting new protocols and maintaining staff morale have until Aug. 15 to have their nomination submitted.
Per the Medline website, the criteria for nominations includes:
• How does the employee boost housekeeper employee morale?
• What’s a newly implemented process he/she suggested to be more efficient, reduce infections and improve patient satisfaction?
• How does the employee offer top notch training/education that’s new or different?
• How does the employee impact patient/resident satisfaction scores in a positive way?
Managers can submit nominations here. Honors will be announced for the top three candidates determined by the committee Sept. 12, during the Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE)'s EVS week.
