Northwest Center welcomes Volker “VW” Wellmann as Senior Vice President of Northwest Center Integrated Facility Services (IFS). In this role, Wellmann will lead Northwest Center’s IFS division in providing expert building, maintenance, and janitorial services to organizations throughout Washington state, spanning industries including commercial, residential, technology, and governmental.
Wellman previously served as Vice President, Operations for Kellermeyer Bergenson Services (KBS) in Oceanside, CA, where he led the restructure of Operations leadership teams and the implementation of best practices in conjunction with HR and IT platforms, resulting in triple-digit year-over-year growth. Previously, he spent eight years with Fortune 200 service company Ecolab as Assistant Vice President, Corporate Accounts, managing commercial products and service programs for corporate-level clients in the facilities, hospitality and healthcare industries. Before joining Ecolab, he was Area Vice President, Field Sales and Service for Swisher Hygiene International, where he identified and brought to market new product lines and profit centers for a private equity group and led national sales and marketing initiatives.
As Senior Vice President, Wellmann will drive growth at Northwest Center Integrated Facility Services, one of Northwest Center’s key social enterprises (a business that provides expert commercial services to customers while also generating funds to support Northwest Center’s services for people with disabilities). For more than 30 years, IFS has provided a full range of comprehensive janitorial and maintenance services to commercial and residential buildings throughout Washington. These services range from keeping facilities cleaned and maintained to exterior policing, pressure washing, and floor care.
