BSCAI CEO Seminar

Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) marked the successful return of its CEO Seminar, Jan. 26 – 29, 2022, in Maui, Hawaii. After transitioning its 2021 event to a virtual cohort due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 CEO Seminar saw hundreds of BSC leaders and vendors engage in three days of networking events and top-quality education.

“This year’s CEO Seminar welcomed more participants than our 2020 event that occurred before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic,” states CEO Seminar Committee Chair, Philippe D. Mack, CBSE, of Bee-Clean Building Maintenance. “It has been a challenging two years for our industry and this turn out clearly shows our industry’s resilience and eagerness to reconnect with fellow leaders.”

Designed for business owners and executive leaders from BSC companies, the event’s education focused on leadership, lifestyle and business intelligence.  The program lineup included:

  • Unprecedented Times for M&A in the BSC Sector, presented by Mark Herbick, Founder and CEO, Pursant, LLC
  • Plan and Prosper, presented by Alan Beaulieu, PhD, Principal, ITR Economics
  • Scaling Up: How a Few Companies Make It...and Why the Rest Don't, presented by Verne Harnish, Owner and CEO, Scaling Up
  • The Business of Friendship: Making the Most of the Relationships Where We Spend Most of Our Time, presented by, Shasta Nelson, renown speaker and author
  • Labor Trends: Hiring and Retention in Extraordinary Times, presented by Jill Davie, President of TEAM Software

BSCAI prioritized the health and safety of its participants, working closely with the Westin Maui Resort and Spa and local authorities leading up to the event to ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, cleanliness and operational effectiveness were upheld for all participants
