The Readers' Choice Awards honor innovation and excellence in products that contribute to the efficient and profitable operations, maintenance and cleaning of institutional and commercial buildings in the United States. Readers of Facility Maintenance Decisions and Facility Cleaning Decisions magazines determined the winning products for 2024. 

Three winners were chosen in eight main categories: Building Maintenance and Cleaning Tools; Cleaning Chemicals; Exterior Buildings and Grounds; Floor and Carpet Care; HVAC and Indoor Air Quality; Interiors: Security, Lighting and Safety; Restroom Fixtures, Consumables and Plumbing; and Software.  

In addition, winners were chosen in three bonus categories: Breakthrough Technology; Healthy Buildings; and New Innovations.  

Honorable mentions were awarded in each category to products that still received a substantial number of votes, but narrowly missed winning.
