RoboSense, an AI-driven robotics technology company, and LionsBot, a robotics developer, have announced a strategic partnership to enhance the visual perception capabilities of intelligent cleaning robots. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of advanced robotics in the global cleaning industry.

RoboSense will provide its high-performance LiDAR technology to improve the navigation and obstacle avoidance of LionsBot’s large cleaning robots, including the R12 Rex and R3 series, as well as future models. This technology will enable LionsBot’s robots to operate effectively in diverse environments, from expansive commercial and industrial spaces to smaller, complex office settings.

The integration of RoboSense’s LiDAR is expected to significantly improve the accuracy and stability of LionsBot’s robots’ perception, leading to increased cleaning efficiency and a more rapid transition towards intelligent cleaning solutions.

In large, open environments such as airports, warehouses, museums, and hospitals, RoboSense’s LiDAR, with its wide field of view and long-range capabilities, will allow LionsBot’s R12 Rex series to cover a broader perception area, ensuring accurate navigation and enhanced operational efficiency. In complex, high-traffic areas such as offices and retail stores, the LiDAR will enable the R3 series to accurately detect obstacles, including highly reflective objects, minimizing interference and improving safety.

The partnership reflects the growing demand for automated cleaning solutions in commercial and industrial settings. RoboSense and LionsBot plan to further explore and develop next-generation perception solutions to revolutionize the cleaning industry.

RoboSense, founded in 2014, specializes in providing advanced LiDAR technology for various robotic applications. The company serves over 2,600 customers across more than 40 countries and regions, offering incremental components and solutions for the rapidly expanding intelligent robotics market.
