3M has announced the winners of its 28th annual Occupational Health and Safety Scholarship program, which recognizes outstanding students pursuing a graduate degree in occupational health and safety. With this program, 3M awards each winner a $5,000 scholarship and attendance to the 2014 American Industrial Hygiene conference & exposition (AIHce) in San Antonio, Texas.
The 2014 Occupational Health and Safety Scholarship winners include:
• Kikelomo Motunrayo Akintunde - University of North Texas Health Science Center
• Undarmaa Enkhbat - Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
• Laura Lucille Kienlen - University of Iowa
• Keith E. Wilson - Columbia Southern University
Scholarship awardees were chosen for their high level of academic achievement, contribution to the profession, and intent to pursue industrial careers in the discipline of Occupational Health and Safety. They were chosen by a selection committee comprised of 3M management and corporate Industrial Hygienists.

The large number of accomplished and talented applicants gives me great confidence in the future of the profession,” said Nicole Vars McCullough, PhD, CIH, and 3M global technical services manager (and winner of 3M’s 1994 industrial hygiene scholarship award).
