3M has appointed two building service employees to new roles. Kevin Tholen is now a business development manager, and Paul Burke is a building service contractor account manager. Both men will serve in 3M's Building and Commercial Services Division.
 
In his new role, Tholen is responsible for developing solutions for building service contractors that will enable them to enhance their overall operations while meeting their business goals. 
 
Tholen has been with 3M for 32 years and has served in a variety of roles, including marketing, business development and key account management. Additionally, Tholen previously served in laboratory, engineering and customer research roles at 3M. Tholen holds a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management in Strategic Business Management.
 
“Kevin brings a wide breadth of experiences as well as industry knowledge that will enable him to not only understand the needs of building service contractors, but to develop and deliver solutions that help them succeed,” said Cathy O’Malley, U.S. marketing manager, 3M Building and Commercial Services Division.

Burke is responsible for building relations and program solutions utilizing 3M innovative products and global resources for building service contractors.
 
Burke has been with 3M for 15 years and has served in a variety of roles, including territory representative in Upstate New York and broker supervisor for eastern Pennsylvania, Upstate New York, Ohio, and Maryland. Burke previously served as strategic accounts business Development manager for 3M. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University.
