As a direct result of its commitment to outstanding business practices, Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical practices in business, recognized 3M as one of the World’s Most Ethical Company for the third year in a row. 3M Commercial Solutions Division continues to contribute to the 2016 Ethisphere designation in the areas of sustainability, innovation and reputation.

Accounting for 20 percent of the judging process, the Ethisphere category of “Corporate Citizenship and Responsibility” reviews a wide range of a company’s performance indicators, including sustainability and environmental stewardship. Year after year, 3M is proud to continue its leadership role in the janitorial and sanitation industries by designing products that provide durability while simultaneously causing a limited environmental impact. One of these products, 3M Floor Pads, delivers on both sustainability and performance by allowing for an increased pad life for customers. As a result, 3M Floor Pads have to be replaced less often.

This year, 3M Commercial Solutions Division also demonstrated its commitment to innovation by introducing more than five new products in a variety of areas including surface protection, traction and chemicals. The company’s most recent product launch, 3M C. diff Solution Tablets, combats the rise of C. diff infections at hospitals by providing a proven, effective alternative to bleach and peracetic acid disinfectants. Additionally, 3M also continued its dedication to expanding and improving its existing product lines, by introducing enhancements to 3M Flow Control System, 3M Easy Trap Duster System – Sweep and Dust Sheets and 3M Twist ‘n Fill Chemical Concentrates.
