The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) released the following statement from Ernie Rosenberg, ACI President & CEO, on the U.S. House of Representatives passage of the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act, which would modernize the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA):
“The extraordinary effort to modernize our chemical safety law is almost complete. This bill – the top legislative priority for the American Cleaning Institute – will further enable our industry’s ongoing work to develop and innovate more sustainable cleaning products.
“We thank and congratulate the bipartisan leadership of many Members of Congress for shepherding this legislation through the House, and look forward to quick action by the Senate to send this bill to the President for his signature.”
