The American Cleaning Institute’s 2013 Sustainability Report was recognized as the top External Publication or Report (online or print) by PR News’ Nonprofit PR Awards. The report also received an honorable mention in the Awards’ Green PR/Marketing category.
“This wonderful recognition gives ACI another opportunity to showcase the continual adoption of sustainability practices within the cleaning products supply chain,” said Brian Sansoni, ACI vice president of sustainability initiatives.
The report details environmental metrics collected from ACI member companies in four key areas: energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, water use and solid waste generation. It also highlights how ACI and its members have played roles in improving product safety and transparency and giving back to those in need.
The online version of the report features a gateway to more than 30 profiles of how ACI members demonstrate sustainability throughout their companies.
