AFFLINK announce the addition of two new members: Area Distributors, Inc., Quincy, Ill., and Portsmouth & Chesapeake Paper Supply, Portsmouth, Va.  The effective date of Membership is April 1, 2012.

D.R. Slough started Associated Chemicals in 1965.  In 1974, Associated Chemicals changed the business model from primarily selling chemicals to a full line facility supply distribution company now known as Area Distributors, Inc. Three generations of the Slough family are active in the business which primarily offers JanSan, Office and Foodservice Supplies and employs 27 people.  Their 62,500 sq. ft. warehouse is located in West Central Illinois.  

Area Distributors’ goal is to be the best partner in the distribution of sanitary maintenance products, paper supplies and office products to their customers.  Their commitment is to represent only quality manufacturers and products; and provide them to their customers with extensive inventories, reliability, product support and competitive pricing.  

Founded in 1968, Portsmouth & Chesapeake Paper Supply is a full service distributor providing paper products, cleaning chemicals, foodservice disposables, and sanitary supplies to the Hampton Roads area of Southeastern Virginia.
