AFFLINK Approved as BOMA 360 Ambassador

Tuscaloosa, AL -  AFFLINK announced they have been approved as a Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA)  360 Ambassador for 2013.

AFFLINK is a global provider of innovative supply solutions for the professional cleaning and building industries.

The company recently developed a new cost management process called eLev8, whereby a consultative approach is combined with data analytics to streamline costs and drive efficiencies for today’s leading businesses.

The BOMA 360 Ambassadors Program, started in 2009, helps vendors and suppliers in the commercial real estate industry connect with BOMA members. The program serves as a resource for BOMA members, allowing vendors such as AFFLINK to share their knowledge and provide solutions to building operation challenges.

The “Ambassadors Program” is part of BOMA’s 360 Performance Program, which helps managers benchmark their building’s performance against industry standards in the following six operational and management areas:

·       Security
·       Education
·       Energy
·       Sustainability
·       Tenant relations
·       Building management

According to former BOMA International Chairperson Ray H. Mackey Jr., the BOMA 360 Ambassador Program was initiated because “vendors play [such] a critical role in helping building owners and managers establish best practices in their buildings.”

Many of AFFLINK’s distributor-members already work with BOMA members and other building owners and managers and have introduced them to the company’s eLev8 process.

This tool allows distributors and their clients to interpret vast quantities of data quickly, “so that they can make fact-based purchasing strategies that not only help cut costs, but help managers improve the health and hygiene of their facilities,” says Mark Shuford, AFFLINK’s Director for the Commercial Real Estate market.

Shuford adds that being a part of the BOMA 360 Program and becoming a BOMA 360 Ambassador is a great honor, “and we look forward to working with our Members to drive compliance in every way we can.”
