AFFLINK, a supply chain management company, recently announced that MedAssets has awarded their coveted Supply Chain Platinum Supplier Award to AFFLINK for the sixth time in six years — every year since 2010.

"MedAssets recognizes suppliers that consistently help their members implement cost-reduction strategies and at the same time help them better manage their supply needs and improve their facility operations," says Marie Carr, Director of Healthcare with AFFLINK.

MedAssets has more than 3,200 employees working with organizations in the healthcare industry. It provides information technologies and services to help them support sustained financial improvement.

Their membership includes more than 180 healthcare systems, 4,400 hospitals, and 122,000 non-acute healthcare providers.

In judging the award, supplier performance is evaluated against specific criteria - 37 different items - during the calendar year.

Award levels are Platinum, the most coveted award and the one presented to AFFLINK, followed by Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, based on total points earned.

Carr adds, "Our work with MedAssets is a reflection of our goal for all AFFLINK end-customers...and it's gratifying to be recognized for our efforts."
