The American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) of the American Hospital Association is rescheduling its 2020 ASHE Annual Conference & Technical Exhibition to October and is adding an exciting new virtual conference alongside the in-person event. The decision was made in light of COVID-19 and the ongoing efforts of hospitals and health systems to fight the pandemic in their communities.

The conference was originally scheduled from Aug. 2 to 5 in Chicago. The conference will remain in Chicago, but will now be held Oct. 4 to 7 instead, announces ASHE.

“Shifting our conference to October and adding a new virtual event will allow ASHE to provide all attendees with key information they need at this critical time — whether they can travel to the in-person event or not,” says Deanna Martin, MS, CAE, ASHE executive director. “We’re looking forward to providing our attendees and exhibitors with the best possible experiences as we work through this pandemic together.”

Each year, the ASHE Annual Conference brings together health care facilities professionals to learn about new developments in the field, network with others and find solutions to their challenges.

More details about the in-person and virtual conferences, including registration information, will be available in the upcoming weeks. Visit ashe.org/ashe-annual to sign up for updates and more information regarding the 2020 ASHE Annual Conference.
