Acme Paper & Supply Co., Inc., a paper, packaging, and cleaning product supplier based in Jessup, Maryland, has announced the appointment of Ayana Lugo as sales account manager.
Lugo previously served as a new homes counselor and new homes information manager of Beazer Homes USA and as director of Sales for White Star Sales and Promotions. Most recently, she served as the director of business development for Curio Wellness.
“Ayana’s role will be business development and sales throughout the greater Mid-Atlantic region. She will be focusing on building and servicing opportunities in all verticals of the Acme Paper portfolio ranging from hygiene and facilities solutions to food service equipment and packaging," said Scott Attman, Acme vice president. "Ayana brings a unique skillset to our team that will support our efforts to build and grow key relationships and drive meaningful client partnerships.
Lugois a member of the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) in association with Kennedy Krieger Institute. For two consecutive years, she was co-chair for the Art of Giving fashion show fundraiser to benefit Kennedy Krieger Institute and Baltimore School for the Arts. She also participated in the planning of numerous benefits for Ruth’s Closet, a social enterprise of House of Ruth Maryland. In 2012, she was given the “Rising Stars” honor from the Living Classrooms Foundation.
Lugo earned her Bachelor of Arts degree Physiology and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
