Model house with furniture on wooden background

Allied Universal, a leading facility services company and the largest security force in North America, will create a sustainable trade show display at the BOMA 2018 International Conference & Expo, to benefit Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio, a non-profit organization that partners with hardworking families in need to help them build and purchase affordable homes. At that show, which brings together building owners and managers to exchange ideas for constructing better environments, Allied Universal exhibited at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio from June 23-26 2018.

“Instead of shipping a traditional trade show booth, we have purchased furniture and carpet locally to create our exhibit space therein reducing our carbon footprint and helping a local charity,” says Randy Dorn, President, Central Region, Allied Universal.

Following the trade show, these items, valued at approximately $10,000, will be donated to support Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio whose mission is to bring people together by providing home ownership to hard working families in need. “The donation underscores our commitment to the people and communities we serve,” added Dorn.

“Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio greatly depends on the support and generous contributions of our partners,” said Natalie Griffith, President & CEO, Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio. “Thanks to Allied Universal’s donation we are able to serve more families in need who are working towards self-sufficiency.  The proceeds from our Habitat Home Centers allow us to use 100% of donations made to Habitat to build homes.”
