The cleaning industry is changing; Carpet as a floor covering material is shrinking and other types of floor coverings are expanding. PhxBizFest - Shift Happens - has been created by expert cleaners to educate other cleaners about additional aspects of the cleaning business that cleaning companies can expand into. The small registration fee will cover costs and donations will be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

For decades, Phoenix has historically contributed to the development of the carpet and cleaning industry in the United States and around the world. PhxBizFest is a unique conference event where attendees will learn how changes in the industry can be overcome and by applying certain techniques can lead to greater success in business.

The hosts of this event, Norma McCormick of CleanNfresh Cleaning and Anders Berg of Swedeclean might be competitors, but both have one goal in mind - to help other cleaning businesses make the shift and succeed. Norma McCormick is an avid believer in continued education and volunteers whenever she can to help educate her peers. 

"It is imperative to keep up with the latest techniques and technologies to stay competitive and run a successful cleaning business". The event will be held February 28th through March 1st, 2014.

The keynote speaker for this event is Joe Polish, the Founder and President of Piranha Marketing Inc. (www.joepolish.com). Special guests, Joe Domin Sr., a Chemist Industry Legend and Barry Costa, Carpet Repair Specialist, Industry Legend and volunteer for LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) will be in attendance.  The event is sponsored by InterlinkSupply, Clean Center, Allen Equipment Inc., Prochem, Energedry Systems, Stonepro and DSC.  In addition, Jon-Don will auction off a complementary seat (valued at $1,295.00) to Strategies for Success at the PhxBizFest raffle. A tour of the Prochem Plant in Chandler is scheduled for February 27th, 2014.
