South Florida’s Armchem International, a business-to-business provider of specialty industrial and maintenance products has named Roger Casey as its chief financial officer, a newly created position.
Casey brings with him two decades of experience in the areas of finance, operations, human resources and customer service and a proven track record in helping companies grow by analyzing current practices and developing strategies to improve systems and increase efficiencies companywide.
In his new role, Casey is responsible for the financial, administrative, and risk management operations of the company. He will also be instrumental in evaluating future acquisitions and spearheading the assimilation of those entities into Armchem International.
“As we continue our expansion plans it became clear that we needed someone with Roger’s expertise, said Armchem CEO Andy Brahms. "Once we saw his breadth of experience, we knew Roger was the person for the job. His analytical skills and expertise in business development, acquisitions and operations make him a great fit to help expand Armchem’s distribution, work force and product offering.”
A resident of Miami, Casey received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Saint Louis University and an MBA from San Diego State University. He is a licensed CPA, owning his own firm for ten years and also served as a controller of several mid-sized national corporations.
