The Building Service Contractors Association International explains in a press releases its choice to join the newly formed Cleaning Coalition of America (CCA).
The partnership stems from BSCAI’s commitment to supporting BSC’s through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
Comprised of commercial cleaning companies, the CCA represents the needs of an overlooked sector of 1 million workers playing a vital role keeping essential services running during the coronavirus crisis. These organizations are essential as the nation prepares to phase back into normal life, ensuring the cleanliness of commercial office buildings, K-12 schools, universities, museums, stadiums, shopping centers and other commercial and public spaces.
“BSCAI is proud to join with six other organizations as we support the BSCAI members and other commercial cleaning companies that are doing essential work to keep out country running,” says BSCAI Executive Director Chris Mundschenk. “We look forward to working alongside the Cleaning Coalition of America to provide support and protection to the companies that will help to re-open America.”
As government officials provide relief for businesses impacted by COVID-19, the CCA and BSCAI remain committed to advocating for the well-being of commercial cleaning companies and their employees.
“Cleaners need America’s help so that they can help get America back to business, when the time is right,” says Josh Feinberg, president of the Cleaning Coalition of America. “The Coalition gives voice to an important group of essential workers.”
