The new site is designed to empower visitors by making it far easier to find the products and information they need and to address a host of cleaning challenges. The ultimate goal was to provide just the right mix of information, education, and product selection for [our] web visitors. We transferred important features from the old site including the Betco U Certification Program, one of the most comprehensive cleaning and maintenance training programs in the industry.
As to the blog, Betco has expanded on the foundation already established, allowing the company greater opportunity to communicate and interact directly with its customers - one of the key goals of the company since its founding. Betz notes that blogging has continued to grow in importance with the introduction of social media sites.
"Our focus right now for our blog is on three key areas: water conservation, floor care and skin care," adds Betz. "We plan to have updates every week on these topics. We encourage our visitors to ask questions, provide feedback and discuss their own [facility maintenance] challenges on the blog or about any of our products."
