Brain Corp, a software technology company specializing in the development of autonomous artificial intelligence (A.I.) systems for self-driving vehicles (SDVs), announced its partnership with Minuteman International of Pingree Grove, Illinois. Founded in 1951, Minuteman is a manufacturer of commercial and industrial maintenance products including walk-behind and ride-on auto scrubbers, critical filter vacuums, air vacuums, walk-behind sweepers, and ride-on sweepers.
The partnership enables Minuteman to introduce EMMA, Brain Corp’s A.I. technology, to the various markets served by the Illinois-based company, including the manufacturing, aviation, healthcare, retail, government, and hospitality industries.
EMMA is vision-based A.I. technology that automates commercial-grade equipment, including industrial floor care machines. She is built on a commercial-grade version of BrainOS, Brain Corp’s proprietary operating system for robotic development. Automating Minuteman’s cleaning equipment furthers the company’s mission of providing innovative solutions to its customers. Minuteman has always focused on being the value brand which means providing a combination of reliability, quality, and ease of use to its customers.
“We are very excited about partnering with Brain Corp,” said Jack Hill, VP of Minuteman International. “The market has been demanding robotic floor care for some time, and we are thrilled to be launching an advanced autonomous solution that will deliver floor care quality customers trust.”
Brain Corp’s EMMA offers a smart, safe and sustainable cleaning solution that empowers operators by enabling them to manage new technology, while also allowing them to shift their attention to higher-value tasks. By enabling employees to multitask, Brain Corp’s revolutionary navigation technology significantly increases efficiency and improves consistency, thus resulting in a more scalable environment.
“We commend Minuteman International for its utilization of technologies to promote increased productivity in floor cleaning,” said Dr. Eugene Izhikevich, CEO and co-founder of Brain Corp. “We look forward to seeing our technology provide efficiencies to many market sectors, as we pride ourselves on our A.I.’s ability to solve an array of complex environments.”
The two companies have a strong, shared philosophy of providing cutting edge solutions to customers. Minuteman designs and builds the E3330, highly reliable walk-behind scrubber that Brain Corp will automate with its cutting-edge A.I. technology.

Minuteman is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hako Group, a $750 million multi-national equipment manufacturer, based in Bad Oldesloe, German.
