New Mexico state on the map under magnifying glass

CSS Facility Services, a portfolio company of Silver Oak Services Partners, announced the acquisition of Albuquerque-based Sparkle Maintenance, Inc. This acquisition furthers the company’s reach in the Western United States.

Founded by Ben & Eleanor Lucero in 1964, and presently run by sons Carlo and Paul Lucero, Sparkle has deep roots in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe communities. Both CCS and Sparkle pride themselves on providing opportunities for employees and providing the highest level of customer service.

“We could not be more excited to join forces with Sparkle Maintenance,” says Troy Coker, CCS founder and CEO. “Sparkle is a special company with a history similar to our own. This acquisition is the perfect opportunity to expand into New Mexico with a great partner.”

Both companies service industries including education, commercial real estate, corporate campuses, medical/healthcare, biotech/life sciences, manufacturing, data centers, and more. The acquisition is an opportunity to build on economies of scale.

“We are proud of Sparkle’s success in the business community with two generations of our family along with a great team of professionals that began with our parents 57 years ago,” says Carlo Lucero, president and co-owner of Sparkle. “This partnership with CCS ensures that our third generation will be stronger than ever before and provides the opportunity to build something great together for our employees and our customers long into the future.”

In March, CCS Facility Services became the first BSC to receive GBAC Star Service Accreditation. For more on that, click here
