Carlisle Companies has appointed Trent A. Freiberg as President of Carlisle FoodService Products, effective July 1, 2012. In his new position, Freiberg will direct global operations for the Carlisle FoodService Products division.

Throughout the past four years, Freiberg has held several leadership roles within the company. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales – Americas and Global Marketing for the Carlisle Brake & Friction (CBF) division. Freiberg previously led the CBF Asia-Pacific region as President after serving as Vice President/General Manager. There, he successfully initiated a comprehensive CBF commercial and organizational presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

Since joining CBF in 2009, Freiberg also led the integration of Japan Power Brake and Hawk facilities in Asia, growing CBF revenues from $5 million to nearly $60 million annually. Before joining Carlisle, Freiberg held various leadership roles at Cooper Industries for more than 14 years. Freiberg earned an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Clemson University.
