Carroll Company announced that the company has begun a multi-million dollar plant improvement and expansion project at their Garland, Texas, headquarters facility.
“We have contracted with ICC, an internationally known leader in liquid manufacturing consulting, to implement plans to streamline and increase production capabilities at our Garland facility,” says Kyle Ogden, president and CEO. “Transitioning production at our world class manufacturing facility will provide for an enhanced customer experience with greater ability to control costs while strengthening our competitive position in the marketplace.”
He adds, “We expect the changes we are making to further solidify our position as the leading manufacturer of private branded institutional cleaning and maintenance products in North America.”
Plans call for new production lines, new batching and storage tanks, and streamlining warehousing and shipping operations. Plans also include the addition of a second shift of production, said Joe Ondriezek, senior vice president and COO.
“To keep pace with the increased business in Garland we foresee the need to start a second shift of production before year end,” says Ondriezek.
