Cascades Tissue Group has honored 33 of its corporate partners and distributors environmental achievement awards for their efforts to offer environmentally preferable products. 

By offering their commercial and industrial customers tissue paper products made from 100 percent recycled fiber, instead of virgin fiber, the environmental achievement award recipients saved 845,209 trees — or an amount that is equivalent to 2,108 American football fields, according to the company release.  

“It is an honor to recognize these distributors for their efforts in promoting environmentally sustainable products,” says Suzanne Blanchet, Cascades Tissue Group president and chief executive officer. “Their support and partnership is invaluable as we continue to reduce our environmental impact and in educating buyers and end users on the significance of using sustainable products.”
