Cascades Tissue Group, the fourth largest tissue paper manufacturer in North America, was recently presented with the Platinum Supplier of the Year award in the Cleaning and Hygiene category at the 2017 Balpex Supplier Summit. The Platinum Supplier of the Year award is presented to the supplier that achieved exceptional performance in its business sector.
The Cascades PRO division earned this award and recognition in part due to the 2016 rebranding of its professional products intended for businesses, industries and institutions. A major sales and marketing effort made it possible to increase awareness of the product line in a simplified manner.
Sandra Hudon, Vice President, North American Sales, was visibly moved by the recognition from her customers and emphasized the exceptional work of her team.
“Every member of the Canadian Sales and Customer Service team has made an enormous personal effort every day to meet the needs of the Balpex members,” said Hudon. “I could never thank them enough for their hard work during this transition period and for their sustained effort to develop our business with Balpex. I would also like to thank the Marketing team for developing the tools and strong image that no doubt helped us earn this award.”
This award follows the recognition received earlier this year by US-based NETWORK for the Cascades PRO restructuring effort. The award wins in both Canada and the United States confirm that the transition has been well-received amongst Cascades PRO’s customers throughout North America. Cascades Tissue Group continues to support the innovation and development initiatives of the Cascades PRO brand in its approach focused on customers’ needs.
