The Congenital Heart Alliance of Cincinnati announced the winners of its Take Charge automated external defibrillator (AED) school program for local Cincinnati school districts. Twenty Zoll AED units will be installed by Cintas Corporation. The program is made possible through a generous grant from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
The winning schools include:
St. Dominic School of Cincinnati
St. Joseph School of Crescent Springs, Kentucky
St. Cecelia School of Independence, Kentucky
Sunman Dearborn Schools of St. Leon, Indiana
Oak Hills Local School District of Cincinnati
“We’re honored to have the opportunity to provide these schools with life-saving equipment and training,” said Terry Karageorges, president of the Congenital Heart Alliance of Cincinnati. “Thanks to the support from Anthem, Cintas and ZOLL, these local schools will have the tools and knowledge necessary to respond to a cardiac emergency.”
