Cintas Corporation announced that its Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin location received Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
VPP Star is OSHA’s highest recognition for the practice of and commitment to exemplary occupational safety and health, earned by businesses who meet rigorous safety requirements. Cintas is the number one participant in the nation for companies with VPP sites, with approximately 250 facilities throughout the world actively pursuing VPP recognition by OSHA or the equivalent under a similar certifying body.
“We’re honored to be recognized with this prestigious safety award,” says Rick Schnipke, general manager at Cintas Menomonee Falls. “This designation demonstrates that nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our partners and their employees.”
Cintas has been involved with the VPP program since 2010, and currently, over 100 Cintas locations have been achieved VPP Star status. Cintas also participates in similar programs in Canada, Mexico and Honduras.
