Cintas Corporation’s rental facility in Dayton, Ohio became the company’s 100th worksite to receive Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), according to the company.
The landmark certification was celebrated during a special ceremony in Dayton in which all Cintas employee-partners were joined by members of the United Starts Department of Labor and OSHA.
Additionally, Cintas’ Dayton First Aid and Safety location became the company’s 101st VPP site.
“We are extremely proud to be the first company with 100 sites with VPP Star certification,” says Mike Thompson, executive vice president & chief administrative officer at Cintas. “Our employee-partners in Dayton have created and continue to sustain an environment where all partners are passionately engaged and take ownership in a safe work environment.”
Cintas has been involved with the VPP program since 2010. The company recently announced that its Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin location received VPP Star certification.
