On April 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. EST CleanLink.com will host the webcast, “Infection Control: Reducing the Risks,” presented by Dr. Charles P. Gerba, Ph.D., professor in the Departments of Soil, Water and Environmental Science (College of Agriculture), and Epidemiology and Biostatics (College of Public Health) at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Gerba will discuss where germs lurk, and how they spread from schools to offices to a variety of settings. This webcast stresses the key role of cleaning tools in mitigating the spread of germs, and highlights interventions that work in reducing the exposure to germs.
In this 60-minute webcast, participants will be provided an overview of the importance of hygiene in the 21st century and learn the true cost of poor hygiene in indoor environments.
More specifically, the webcast will enable audience members to:
- Understand the cost of poor hygiene
- Analyze the geography of germ transmission from the home to the office
