Coastal Building Maintenance (CBM), a full-service janitorial and maintenance company in South Florida, recently began offering EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfection services powered by electrostatic spraying technology. After just a few days, CBM is already seeing a huge increase in demand because of the service, which should only become more popular as businesses begin to reopen.

The new service offers companies COVID-19 terminal cleaning, as well as preventive disinfection cleaning, according to a press release from CBM.

“Now more than ever, CBM is committed to ensuring our customers are offered the highest quality cleaning services for their businesses or commercial properties,” says Matthew Sullivan, President of CBM. “Disinfecting through our electrostatic sprayers allows us to clean and disinfect large, common areas the most effective and efficient way possible. This eliminates human error and ensures that all touchpoints and surface areas are reached.”

CBM can provide services using the industry’s state of the art technology and products. Pairing chemistry with electrostatic spraying technology results in a healthier facility by reducing the causes and costs associated with illness. According to CBM, the main benefits of its switch to the new system are efficiency, improved cost effectiveness and better cleaning coverage.

Using electrostatic spray disinfection helps provide high-use areas an extra layer of protection, says CBM. The disinfectant spray particles are positively charged, allowing them to cling to and coat surfaces more evenly and sanitize four times faster than a traditional cleaning. Since the outbreak, CBM has been providing this service for their clients, including Miami Children’s Museum, Loews Hotel, Gulliver Schools and Village of Key Biscayne.

“At Loews Hotel, our number one priority is the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff,” says Mutluhan Kucuk, general manager. “We are taking every precautionary measure and CBM has been a trusted partner for years and [we] have recently leaned on them for clean, healthy solutions for us when we are ready to open back up for business.”
