Cleaning Products Europe Celebrates Anniversary In Amsterdam

Consumers are becoming increasingly conscious of a variety of factors when purchasing cleaning products for their home; paying more attention to labels, demanding sustainable ingredients and avoiding harsh chemicals. With the cleaning and household industry seeing constant innovations to try to keep up with these rising consumer demands, there's never been a better time for professionals across the supply chain to attend Cleaning Products Europe 2018. 
 
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Cleaning Products Europe will bring together key players from across the household and cleaning products supply chain to discuss challenges and opportunities across the entire cleaning product life cycle; from raw material to product shelf.
 
Taking place from 13 – 15 March in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, the conference will highlight current and future household market trends, regulatory updates and their effects on the industry, consumer demand for sustainability and breakthrough R&D. It is also a chance to bring the industry up to speed with the latest technologies for smoother manufacturing processes. Mark Stalmans from Procter & Gamble described the conference as “An annual highlight to understand what’s happening with innovations, sustainability and markets in the European cleaning products industry.”

The two-day conference will open on day one with a session focusing on Household and industrial cleaning market overview with speakers from Euromonitor International, Kline & Company and A.I.S.E. It will then move on to the next session; Retailer and brand owner perspectives on sustainability in cleaning products and consumer trends, speakers in this session will include representatives from Asda and AllergyCertified. The final session for the day focuses on Developments and innovations in ingredients with speakers from REACHWise, Lubrizol Homecare, Clariant, Cefic and Schülke &  Mayr GmbH.
 
On day two the conference will look at Packaging sustainability with representatives from companies including Procter & Gamble, TerraCycle and Ecocert. The Machine technology & washing trends session will feature speakers from BSH Hausergeräte and Instituto Technológico Textil AITEX and the final session with representatives from Diversey, McBride and more will look at Green chemistry & bio-based products.
 
Throughout the conference, delegates will be able to enjoy over 5 hours of networking time including a celebratory 10th anniversary evening drinks reception after day one of the conference. Delegates will also be able to book the exclusive site visit at Corbion Purac’s R&D Applications Laboratory before the conference on Tuesday 13 March. Places are limited on the tour and only available to delegates.
