The Critical Facilities Summit, the only event focused exclusively on the design, construction and management of mission critical facilities, will be featuring educational sessions highlighting five tracks. Held September 29th through October 1st at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina, these 60 and 90 minute sessions are geared towards facilities and engineering professionals seeking to improve the productivity, performance and reliability of their critical facilities. With more than 35 sessions available, attendees have the opportunity to experience a deeper look into the facility management side of not just data centers, but labs, hospitals, financial institutions, communications firms, online retailers and all mission critical buildings.
“The Summit’s tracks reflect the key issues and trends in mission critical facilities infrastructure,” said Wendy Dietzler, director of education for the Critical Facilities Summit. “Other events often focus on IT or software, but the CFS agenda focuses on the specifics of design, energy management, maintenance and best practices - the true nuts and bolts of what it takes to keep data centers and labs and hospitals running reliably. We had such a great response to our Project Spotlight case study sessions in 2013 that we are bringing them back this fall to give our attendees a chance to see how a variety strategies work in a real-world critical environment.”
The Critical Facilities Summit presents five different education tracks:
• Designing and Building Mission Critical
• Operations and Maintenance Strategies
• High-Efficiency Initiatives and Opportunities
• Best Practices in the Critical Facilities World
• Project Spotlights
Programs begin at 1 p.m. Monday, September 29th and run through 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, October 1st. Attendees are able to pick and choose their educational sessions from any track or focus on a specific area of interest to suit their goals. Sessions are presented in an intimate setting to give participants the opportunity to have one-on-one time with speakers as well as open discussions with other professionals in the industry.
