Crown Mats and Matting, a leading manufacturer of matting systems, announces that George Savich has recently been hired as the company’s new Vice President of Sales.
 
According to Vince DePhillips, President of Crown Mats, Savich has 20 years of sales experience and has worked for manufacturers in the matting, safety, and food service industries. “Over those twenty years, he has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility with manufacturers within our various market industries."
 
DePhillips adds that Savich has considerable knowledge of the matting industry, a very thorough understanding of channels of distribution that can benefit Crown, “and an excellent reputation in the industry.”
 
Savich also attended Purdue University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree.
 
“We were looking for someone to fill this position for some time,” adds DePhillips. “It was a fairly long and exhaustive process, but we definitely believe we found the right person.
