Mary Grunwald comes to work everyday as a custodian at Horizon Elementary School in Pewaukee, Wisconsin determined to make a difference. It’s this mindset that recently got her rewarded.
Grunwald was recently named a 2019 Education Employee Of The Year at the Pewaukee Chamber Of Commerce Community Awards Gala, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Grunwald was joined by six other school educators in winning the award.
Perhaps Grunwald should be put in the running for Cintas’ Custodian Of The Year Award for 2020. To win, Grunwald and all others will have to bring their “A” game.
Great work over a long period of time is part of what got Aristeo Flores of Scotts Valley Middle School in California to be voted the 2019 Cintas Custodian Of The Year. For a recap on how Flores won the award, click here.
