Miami, Florida-based Dade Paper announced the company will host back-to-back events in September.
According to the news release, the company will first host a benefit dinner on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Marriott Harbor Beach Fort Lauderdale Resort & Spa.
The evening will begin with an ocean-side cocktail reception and silent auction. Dinner will be served in the Ocean Ballroom followed by lively entertainment by Private Stock Band. The evening will be captured by an interactive photography platform allowing guests to share images of the evening's festivities in real time.
The event will also commemorate the company's 75th anniversary, and its founder Irving Genet, by raising funds to provide college scholarships in each region that the company serves.
“My father was a school teacher before starting the company. Educational programs and community service have always been part of Dade Paper’s culture,” shares Lenny Genet, the company's third-generaton owner.
On September 11, Dade Paper will hold its 2014 Innovations Expo at the Broward Convention Center, also in Fort Lauderdale. The trade show will feature about 100 manufacturer exhibitors in the foodservice disposables, warewashing and janitorial supplies and equipment categories and provide a complimentary luncheon.
