Spruce Industries is proud to announce the appointment of Daniel Josephs to the Board of Directors of ISSA-The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association. Effective today, August 20th, Dan is now incoming Distributor Director

Dan is the Chief Operating Officer and executive vice president of Spruce Industries, Inc. and was one of the early adopters in achieving both his I.C.E. and ACT certification through ISSA. He has been an active leader in the industry for the entire span of his involvement at Spruce, serving as past chairperson of the ISSA Young Executive Society and also is a past president of NJSSA-The Association of Mid-Atlantic Cleaning Experts. “Our industry is at an inflection point. The value of distribution is waning. The fundamentals of which distribution has been built on—training, innovation, and quality—have been replaced by logistics. I cannot sit back and hope that distribution simply survives; I have a responsibility to our industry, to you, and to my family’s business to ensure that distribution thrives. My goal is to bring focus back to the fundamentals of distribution.”

Spruce Industries is a family-owned facilities supplies distributor located in Rahway, NJ and serving most of NJ, Eastern PA and the New York City Metropolitan Area. This year Spruce celebrates its 50th Anniversary of providing stellar service, innovation, training and quality products to industrial and institutional clients such as schools, government, food processing, health care and manufacturing.
