The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) has announced that the 11th Annual Campus Sustainability Day, focusing on "Climate Adaptation: Resilient Campuses & Communities," will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2013
Campus Sustainability Day is a time to recognize the successes, challenges and innovation of sustainability in higher education on each campus. Hold an event on your campus or in your community, commit to a shared challenge, and help raise the bar for sustainability leadership in higher education as we take the next steps forward together.
How will your campus integrate this year’s theme into projects and programs to celebrate? Submit your campus events to AASHE and they will be posted to the website.
Since 2003, Campus Sustainability Day (CSD) has been a time to reflect on the success of the sustainability movement in higher education. Hundreds of campuses and dozens of supporting organizations have contributed to the national day of celebration by hosting discussions, webcasts, panels, and more.
Make sure to save the date on your Fall calendar for campus events and a formal Campus Sustainability Day presentation hosted by Second Nature.
