Hill & Markes, a family-owned wholesale distributor based in Amsterdam, New York, donated a portion of its breast cancer facemask sales to Ellis Hospital for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
In total, $1,500 was donated to Ellis Hospital in collaboration with vendor partner Maxwell- McKenney, according to a press statement from Hill & Markes.
“Hill & Markes is pleased to partner with Maxwell McKinney in providing a donation to Ellis Hospital and its cancer treatment programs,” said Jason Packer, CEO of Hill & Markes. “Ellis Hospital is such an important healthcare center in our community. Our family and company feel fortunate to be able to support its incredible work.”
In its press statement, Hill & Markes said it is committed to raising awareness and championing important causes. The company said it is motivated to support Ellis Hospital and other Breast Cancer Awareness foundations, and hope to make a difference in the lives of those affected.
