Sealed Air and Diversey Care’s Diversey Consulting team will offer insight during two breakout sessions and highlight top innovations at the Global Food Safety Initiative’s (GFSI) upcoming conference in Anaheim, Calif. The annual three-day conference, taking place Feb. 26 to 28, is one of the food safety industry’s most anticipated events. It attracts more than 1,000 experts from over 60 countries worldwide who discuss current trends and share ideas for advancing food safety.

On Feb. 27 from 8 to  a.m. PST, Diversey Consulting will host a breakfast session titled, “Understanding and Changing Food Safety Practices.” Chris Jordan, Sealed Air’s key account director in the U.S., will share results from an exclusive ethnographic study and discuss how ethnography can be used to understand and improve food safety practices in retail operations. The session will present case studies from Insight Product Development, Target and North Carolina State University.

Catherine Francois, Diversey Consulting session chair and global director will moderate a breakout session on Feb. 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., titled, “New Ways of Controlling the Microorganism in Food Environments,” featuring case studies from Intralox, Camden BRI and 3M.
