Canberra Corporation became the first manufacturer to receive the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) stamp of approval on a concentrated disinfectant for use against SARS-CoV-2, according to press release from the company.

When diluted at one ounce per gallon, Husky 824 Quick Care Disinfectant is effective for use against SARS-CoV-2 with a contact time of three minutes on hard surfaces. Husky Quick Care Disinfectant is recommended for use with the Check Mate Electrostatic Cleaning System and can sanitize soft surfaces in five minutes.

Canberra Corporation, a Toledo, Ohio-based manufacturer of cleaning chemicals for the commercial, institutional and industrial markets, currently has 15 disinfectants on the EPA List N: Disinfectants for use against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).
