CG Environmental (CG), an environmental services firm with facilities throughout Texas and Colorado, has acquired Mid-America Environmental Solutions and Mid-America Waste Solutions, according to a press release. Through this transaction, CG’s biohazard, hazardous waste and patented emergency spill response services, including COVID-19 mitigation, will be available throughout the Midwest.
“Mid-America is a complementary fit with CG Environmental in terms of geography and services,” says Erick McCallum, CEO of CG Environmental. “CG will bring Mid-America’s waste hauling services to our customers in Texas and Colorado, and we will bring our strengths, including emergency response and biohazard cleaning, to Mid-America’s customers. Together, we will better serve those throughout the region and we are thrilled to welcome the Mid-America employees to our CG family.”
Mid-America is an environmental services company headquartered in Carthage, Missouri, with an additional location in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. An industry leader in the Midwest, Mid-America specializes in waste transportation and disposal, industrial cleaning, environmental assessments, asbestos abatement, soil and groundwater remediation and emergency response. Founded in 1990, the company was previously owned by Dominic and Melissa Whitley, who will remain with the company as executives and will be ongoing shareholders of CG Environmental.

CG is a full-service environmental company with facilities in Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Denver, in addition to new facilities in Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri through the company’s acquisition of Mid-America. The company’s services include emergency response, hazardous waste disposal, industrial and biohazard (including COVID-19) cleaning, vacuum truck services, roll-off services, confined space operations and petroleum services. The company’s clients including emergency response teams, state and local governments, airports, factories and hospitals that engage CG to handle biohazard, soil remediation and emergency response needs.
