Essity, a hygiene and health company, announced that Sahil Tesfu will join its executive management team after accepting the newly created position of "Senior Vice President Group Function Strategy & Business Development."

Tesfu joins Essity from the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company. She brings significant experience and knowledge in growth strategies and digitalization.

In her role as Essity SVP Group Function Strategy and Business Development, Tesfu will be responsible for leading the work with the group’s strategy.

Tesfu will officially join Essity on Sept. 1 and will report to Magnus Groth, the company's president and CEO.
