The International Facility Management Association's third annual Facility Fusion Conference & Expo concluded in Chicago last week, where the event achieved its highest ever attendance figures. Held at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, Facility Fusion 2012 played host to 1,263 total attendees — an increase of nearly 32 percent from 2011 and nearly 49 percent from 2010.

"Seeing this kind of growth year-to-year validates Facility Fusion and its place as the premier springtime conference for facility professionals," said IFMA President and CEO Tony Keane, CAE. "The event combines the educational content IFMA members are looking for with the value and opportunities to reach the membership that IFMA's corporate shareholders want.

"We had such an increase in exhibitors this year that there were companies on a waiting list trying to be a part of the show. Chicago is always a great location, and the Chicago and Northern Illinois Chapters were a pleasure to work with. We hope to keep the momentum going as we look forward to Los Angeles for Facility Fusion 2013."

Facility Fusion helps facility, design and real estate professionals strengthen their competitive advantage through instructor-led educational courses, an expo showcasing the latest workplace products and services, cutting-edge facility tours, and other professional development and networking opportunities.

Facility Fusion 2013 will be held April 2-4 at the J.W. Marriott Los Angeles, L.A. LIVE. To learn more about Facility Fusion, or to see videos, photos and highlights of the 2012 conference, visit www.ifmafacilityfusion.org.
