FSSI Development: The deadline for the submission date of Bids for the FSSI JanSan & MRO has changed. Initially, the request for quotation (RFQ) deadline was extended from November 12 to November 21. According to new reports, the deadline has again been extended until December 5.

Government reports state:
The Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the new Janitorial and Sanitation (JanSan) Supplies and Equipment strategic sourcing solution for the Purchasing Channel has been released and is now available for viewing and download via GSA Interact, as well as GSA eBuy. Given the success of the Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative (FSSI) Office Supplies Solution, Second Generation (OS2), earlier this year GSA launched a government-wide analysis of the Federal JanSan and Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) markets to identify the potential cost savings that could be provided to agencies through the creation of FSSI solutions for JanSan and MRO.
